A local outbreak of COVID-19 occurred in north Taiwan’s red light district. Home of tea houses and massage centers, this community was unknowingly struck by COVID-19. As frontline workers, the Emergency Medicine Team at Taipei Municipal Hoping Hospital, responded quickly to provide Rapid Antigen and PCR COVID-19 testing. The Emergency Medical Team tested more than 2000 person’s of interest during the first week of the outbreak and continued to test today. We found over 460 positive cases of COVID-19 using just the rapid antigen testing. Our goal is to quickly identify and isolate patients during this pandemic. We provided guidance in isolation precautions, symptomatic care, treatment, and hospitalization as required. Through our experience, we will continue to provide these services as well as crowd control, COVID-19 triage, and public health education during this COVID-19 pandemic. And we will deliver experience for further discussion.
